About Us

Our Pastor

Pastor Charles and Lori Moore have been pastoring in the Central Indiana region for over three decades. Pastor Moore pioneered Tree of Life Ministries in Alexandria, Indiana, in November of 1990. In 2006, Pastor Moore also began pastoring Huntington Christian Center in Huntington, Indiana. The two ministries combined and, in February of 2009, relocated to Marion, Indiana, a city centrally located between the two churches. Pastor Moore is the president and founder of Tree of Life Ministries, Inc.; and has written the Pastor’s Youth Commission (teen discipleship) program and the Giant Killers (men’s discipleship) program. Pastor Moore has been a credentialed minister since 1989.

Pastor Moore spent his teen years as a very violent person. He was sitting in a church service in March of 1985, when the power of God hit him. He went to the altar, wept and gave his life over to God, and has never been the same. Pastor and Mrs. Moore both became Christians that night.

Pastor Moore once reminisced that when he left the altar the night he became a Christian, everything looked different. He saw people without hate. Pastor Moore then became severely connected with his church, was a great help to his pastor, and started a powerful marriage and family. To this day, they continue together living and breathing Gospel work.

Pastor Moore has very strong feelings for Marion and Grant County, Indiana. It is his desire to see people helped and changed like he was, as only the power of God can do. Pastor Moore puts strong emphasis on the importance of having a pastor and being part of a local church, because his own experience has proved those things to be vital in the life a person.
